There are four well ventilated classrooms for the P.T.C trainees. Two classrooms are for the First year and two for the Second year classes. The classrooms have sufficient space with benches for the trainees as well as a table for the teacher educator. There are two flannel boards in the classroom on which the students display their articles. The classroom also consists of a blackboard. All the classrooms are comfortable with fans and lights for making the classroom interaction interesting.
As teaching of Science is incomplete without providing practical experience, so a well equipped science laboratory is available. The laboratory is common for all the three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Various 3 'D' models are available e.g. Eye, Ear, Digestive system etc. For chemistry experiments all the chemicals necessary are arranged in different racks. Students go to the laboratory to perform the various experiments given in the theory papers of science. It enables students to do independent work and understand concepts clearly.
Trainees of P.T.C. are given wide exposure to the preparation and maintenance of various teaching aids keeping cost effectiveness in mind. T.L.M could be used to explain certain abstract concepts to the students. For a proper exposure of the subject workshops, demonstrations for T.L.M preparation are given by the lecturers. Optimum use of these T.L.Ms are encouraged. Regular exhibitions are also held to make the in-service teachers aware of the use of T.L.Ms
The prayer assembly which is conducted for the four education colleges including the B.Ed and P.T.C colleges consists of the meditation, Saraswati vandana , shloka recitation, a prayer, news, thought of the day, story, action song,drama etc. The assembly hall has a stage as well as a podium. A mike system is kept permanently in the hall for conducting the prayer assembly. Proper ventilation is provided with the help of windows and doors. There is sufficient space in the hall which can accommodate about 600 students. The hall is enriched with good thoughts and posters of educationists and philosophers. The assembly hall is also used for conducting the co-curricular activities and various competitions.
The psychology laboratory is used to conduct the psychological experiments prescribed in the syllabus of the First Year of the P.T.C Course. All the equipments necessary for conducting these experiments are available in the laboratory. Besides, there are other equipment as well as instruments for other experiments. There are psychological and intelligence tests available in the laboratory. The laboratory is well ventilated and creates a comfortable environment for conducting experiments. There are posters of psychologists and charts about the experiments displayed in the laboratory.
Hostel residence is compulsory for P.T.C. students.Accommodation for 2000 students on the college campus. Proper attention given to cleanliness and hygiene.Students are kept under the supervision of experienced and caring wardens. Friendly environment. Sarva Vidyalaya is known for its State-of-Art hostel accommodations for both boys and girls. For the P.T.C. students, hostel accommodation is a prerequisite. The strength of students is 400 including English and Gujarati medium. There are around 100 well-furnished rooms in each hostel. Each room has facilities like sufficient space, attached toilet, bathroom, washbasin, furniture like tables and chairs, cots with mattresses, cupboards with lockers all in keeping with the students' needs & comforts. In each single room four persons can be accommodated. The hostels have their own dining hall, where the students are given healthy & nutritious food (such as milk, breakfast, lunch & dinner). The other facilities include an assembly hall, where meditation followed by a soothing prayer is conducted every morning and evening so as to take care of the physical and mental well being of the students. Students are also given a conducive study environment with the provision of a separate reading hall. Nevertheless, entertainment for the students is also taken care of by showing them some occasional television programmes and movies. Everyday, sufficient water supply is ensured with a provision of cold drinking water in summer and hot water in winter for the bathing purpose. A special emphasis is given to the cleanliness and hygiene. Festivals are also celebrated at the hostel and the students participate in the programme whole-heartedly. Students are also given the facility of a playground. Parents are allowed to meet their wards, twice a month. As a whole, it is the place where parents can ensure their ward's safety and security. The hostel life encourages community living in the students which is a part of the primary teacher training curriculum.
